Princess Terrace Buffet at Copthorne King’s Hotel Review

You’ll find the Princess Terrace Buffet spot in the Copthorne King’s Hotel on Havelock Road. This place has been dishing out the goodness of Penang cuisine for four decades. It may look luxurious, which doesn’t go with the vibes of  Penang cuisine, but you’re in for authentic taste. The Princess Terrace is all about an extensive buffet spread expertly prepared since the ’70s.

But what truly sets Princess Terrace apart is their passion for preserving heritage. They’ve got a chef who’s all about the Peranakan cooking style. With each dish, you can taste the influence of Penang’s vibrant culture.

Now, let’s get into what’s on the menu–We’re talking Penang Laksa, Prawn Noodles, Popiah, Satay, Curry Chicken, Kueh Pie Tee, Fried Kway Teow, Duck Thigh Mee Sua, and a delightful selection of Nonya Kueh. And to top it all off, that silky Soya Beancurd is the perfect sweet ending to your feast.

Also, the buffet style is like diving into the “Princess Terrace: DIY” experience. Not only do they serve you incredible dishes, but you also try mixing your Penang-style rojak. It’s a culinary adventure that’s hard to come by elsewhere. Or you can kick things off with a Penang-style appetizer featuring fresh veggies and fried beancurd. With the buffet spread, you also get “unlimited servings of freshly handmade Nonya kuehs.

That being said, the staff is friendly and communicative. Even if you’re a foreigner, you’ll get the best value for your money. It might not be the fanciest spot in town, but it’s where authenticity and deliciousness come together. The seating arrangement is social with warm vibes. So, it makes a great get-together spot after office hours or with friends.

So there you have it; if you’re on the hunt for some awesome Penang grub, head on over to Princess Terrace at Copthorne King’s Hotel. When you dig into their dishes, you’ll understand why quality is such a big deal, and you’ll walk away stuffed but still craving more!
